BAM Construction is recruiting a 4D Planning Modeller to join the team in the London Region. The successful individual will be required to develop models and 4D sequences that support the planning and delivery of construction activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has a passion for technology to get training and support whilst working for a leading construction company. You will create construction sequenced models of schemes being tendered and also under construction. The 3D models created by designers will be enhanced with site logistics models and linked to the construction programme using project planning software for construction sequencing, CGI production and rendered animations.

The ideal candidate will be interested in looking into ways we can support sites using digital technology to add benefit to the entire construction process.

About the role
• Develop 3D digital models and visual imagery (using various software platforms including Revit / 3D Studio Max) to support projects, tender submissions and presentations
• Construction sequence modelling (using various software platforms including Synchro and PowerProject) to support projects, tender submissions and presentations
• Producing presentable outputs for tender submissions, method statements and presentations to clients
• Facilitate specific initiatives and support the preconstruction and site teams e.g. VR / AR
• Support 4D champions
• When required, present the regions 4D and digital capabilities
• CPD and research in relation to digital development and new technologies

Who are we looking for?
• The ideal candidate will have London construction experience.
• A design or construction related qualification, HNC equivalent or higher
• Experience in 3D modelling with an awareness of software developments
• Experience in 4D software including Synchro Pro preferred.
• Be both a team player and self-motivated
• Excellent time management skills in order to commit to work deadlines
• Possess excellent IT skills and willingness to explore, learn and use new technology and software
• Awareness of construction planning and sequence
• Good communication skills, both verbally and illustratively
